Goodbye, Jarl frá Midkrika!

One of the most successful horses ever retires from the sport. The 18year old four-time world champion ends his unique career. Jarl was bred by Eypor Óskarsson on Iceland. With the Norwegian Stan Pedersen, he won four gold medals, five silver- and one bronze medal at worldchampionships. After two gold medals in the fourgate-combination, Jarl became double-worldchampion in fourgate and tölt T1 at the VM in Oirschot/NED 2007. Afterwards he was sold to the Austrian rider Lucia Koch. With her, Jarl won the Middle-European-Championship three times in a row. All together this combination achieved four MEM gold medals. At Jarl’s fifth worldchampionships in 2009 he became vize-worldchampion in fourgate and climbed to the top in the worldranking. He collected any number of victories, so at the Worldcup 2010. After the third Middle-European-Championship title in fourgate 2012, Jarl retires in the best of health. The world-celebrated red stallion is now available for breeding.
