Höskuldargerði corral almost ready

Monument of Höskuldur Eyjólfsson in Hofsstaðir in Borgarfjörður is being built. This is a horse corral and so called “saddle coop”…..

which is situated next to the church in Reykholt. Only final preparations remain as well as the monument itself which will be situated next to the corral, and will be made by an artist.

The corral looks like it has been there for a long time, and it tones very well with the environment.

It is Guðlaugur Óskarsson former principal of the school at Kleppjárnsreykjar who has been raising capitel for this project and he has been offering to people a dvd disk which he did on two older horse people riding their gæðigar, and those are Gísli Höskuldssson and Haukur who is 29 years olf and Ingimar Sveinsson and Pílatus who is 26 years old.
