Powerful five gaits in Finland

The five gaits competition in Finland was extremely powerful. In order to get into A-finals a score of 6.97 was required and a score of 6.47 was needed for a secure seat in the B-finals.

Half of the places in the finals are occupied by the Swedes, as currently they are extremely powerful in pace and five gaits. Camilla Mood Havig from Norway is the topmost after the preliminary with Herjan frá Lian, a competition horse she has been working on for the past few years. Herjan is in constant improvement and especially the tölt is getting constantly better as is the case with good pace which Camilla showed without complications and elegance.

 Fredrik Rydström from Denmark is in second place after the preliminary with hir horse Krókur frá Efri Rauðalæk performing with safely and with good pace performance. One Icelandic competitor is in the A-finals, Sigurður Matthíasson and Vár frá Vestra Fíflholti.

 Many powerful horses and riders are in the B-finals so anything can happen in the five gaits and a winner can easily make it into the topmost fight in the A-finals. The world champion in five gaits, Stian Pedersen is in sixth place with a young and inexperienced competition horse, Léttir frá Hellesylt and right behind him is Christina Johansen from Denmark.

Everything indicates that the finals in five gaits both on Saturday and Sunday will be very exciting.
