Planning to take Glymur to WC 2011

Hinrik Bragason and Glymur frá Flekkudal won the five gaits of the Masters League in a memorable manner last week….

The Eiðfaxi news reporter was there and had a short chat with the winner after accepting the trophy.

Understandably Hinrik was cheerful and told us a short tale about their victories together. Glymur is an 8 year old stallion and his sire is Keilir frá Miðsitju and Pyttla frá Flekkudal.

„We have had him under our supervision at Árbakki for one and a half year and this is our fourth tournament together. We have been the winners in three tournaments but we ended in second place in the five gaits of the Masters League last year. That time we lost by just a few points so the victory this time is very welcome“ Hinrik said.

For the next few weeks Glymur will be resting before they tackle their greatest project so far. „We will be attending a few stallion shows in the next weeks but then we aim for the preliminary for the World Championship“ Hinrik finally said.
