Flawless and refined in four gaits and two Icelandic world champion titles!

The preliminary in four gaits was extremely entertaining to watch, as there were many fantastic horses registered for this event…..

The sun is shining in St. Radegund and the Icelandic spectators surely had a reason to smile and celebrate as our representatives did really well.

Agnes Hekla Árnadóttir and Vignir frá Selfossi entered the track and enjoyed themselves; the whole performance was flawless and entertaining to watch. They received a score of 7.01. Röskur frá Sunnuhvoli also looked great under the control of Arnar Bjarki Sigurðarsson who received a score of 6.70 for his performance.

The charmers Sigur frá Hólabaki and Hinrik Bragason looked great with their fantastic presence in the sun as could be expected and received a score of 7.87 and an appropriate applause from the spectators. They are third into the finals after Isabelle Felsum and Viktor frá Disa from Denmark and Frauke Schenzel and Tígul vom Kronshof from Germany who are in two of the top seats.

Hulda Gústafsdóttir and Kjuði frá Kirkjuferjuhjáleigu did really well at the tournament. Their presentation was disciplined and obviously well practiced, all transactions were smooth and they received a score of 7.60. They are in 9th place and will compete in the B-finals tomorrow.
Jóhann Skúlason and Hnokki frá Fellskoti presented familiar manners, were safe and rhythmical and received a score of 7.80 and 4th place into A-finals.

Two Icelandic world champions
Hekla Katharína Kristinsdóttir and Gautrekur frá Torfastöðum were in a great mood today. They danced in a smooth way on the track like they are known for and received a score of 7.27 which is the highest score received today within the class of young adult and therefore they are the world champions of young adults in four gaits.  

The presentation of Eyjólfur Þorsteinsson and Ósk frá Þingnesi was fantastic and they received a great score 7.70 and after a magnificent performance in the preliminary in loose rein tölt it is clear that Eyjólfur is the world champion in all the aggregated four gaited events. They are in 7th place in the four gated competition and will compete with Hulda in the B-finals.
