Many records set at Hirtenhof? Video

Yesterday a new world record in 250 m pace was set but the Icelanders in Germany do not stop there. This morning, Sunday June 19th a record was set in 100 m flying pace…

It was Styrmir Árnasson riding Borgari frá Eyrarbakka who was the rider. The conditions were exceptionally good and the timing was 7.19 seconds.

One might think that two new records had been set, but that is not the case. For a world record to be acknowledged a camera with timing has to be present, which was not at this tournament. So Beggi and Stimmi just have to repeat thease sprints at the WC!
