Bergþór and Lótus fastest

They need to do their very best, the competitors in 250 m pace if they are going to take the world championship title away from Bergþór Eggertsson and Lótus van Aldenghoor…..

After two sprints from four the prevailing world champions have the best timing, and are almost a second faster than the next competitor, Guðmundur Einarsson and Sproti frá Sjávarborg.

Our man, Elvar Einarsson and Kóngur frá Lækjarmóti had one valid sprint with the timing 22.89 seconds and is in 4th place at this time, and only a fraction of a second after Tania H. Olsen and Sólon frá Stro.

It will be exciting to see the sprints but there will be two rounds tomorrow at 15:00 hrs.

Like all the finals at the WC in Austria, the timing in two of the first sprints can be viewed here: HM vef Eiðfaxa
