Heroic rescue!

As Gunnar Valsson horse man in Mosfellsbær arrived to his burning stable the other night, two policemen were already there…..
These three people broke into the stable and managed to release the horses out of the burning stable. “All the horses were frantic from fear, and it was not easy to manage them, because they were trying to climb over the partitions between the stables” Gunnar said.

”The policemen managed to get the foals out of the barn but soon after we had released the last few horses and were walking out ourselves, there was a kind of a smoke explosion behind us. This was a close call.”

Gunnar and the two policemen were all suffering from smoke inhalation and were taken to the hospital for oxygen and medication treatment.
