Video clip of Viðar and Tumi at the WC
The track record of Viðar Ingólfsson and Tumi frá Stóra-Hofi at the tölt competition in the World Championship was quite confrontational….
After the preliminary they were in 11th place which is only one seat away from the B-finals. After one competitor withdrew their registration, the two of them received the right for participation in the B-finals which they used to the fullest; they were fantastic on all the different gaits and managed to win a fantastic victory.
The show of Viðar and Tumi can be viewed at the video tapes below along with a shot from the B-finals where Viðar and Tumi competed with Lucia Koch from Austria riding Jarl frá Miðkrika, Juha Matti Kontio from Finland riding Röðull frá Holtsmúla 1, Ásta Dögg Bjarnadóttur-Covert and Dynjandi frá Dalvík but they are competing on behalf of the United states, as well as Dennis Hedebo Johansen and Kolfaxa fra Lilleheden in Denmark.
Viðar and Tumi performed really well in the wet weather during the A-finals, but lost his 5th place when their participation in the championship was made null and void because the hoof covers that were put on Tumi proved to be too heavy after the rain which was pouring out during the finals.
