Cooperation of horse women created Kátína

A new book about horses has been released in four different languages; Icelandic, English, Swedish and German…..

The account of Kátína tells about the birth and upbringing of the mare foal called Kátína (joyful) who is breeding assessed at four years old and receives 1st prize. The author of the book is a 17 year old high school student Hildur Þóra Ólafsdóttir who is an inveterate horse lover.
Josefina Margareta Morell who is a farmer and horse women living at Giljar in Borgarfjörður decorated the book with beautiful water color pictures. 

Blær Guðmundsdóttir, a graphic designer, set the book itself and the outcome is totally beautiful. It could be said that the cooperation of these young women has created Kátína. Kátína is published by Æskan and the book is available in all the main book stores as well as horse tack stores in the country.
